When you are looking into safe yoga for pregnancy, it is important to know what yoga poses work well during pregnancy. A couple of good poses that you can do during pregnancy are:
Cobbler’s or Tailor’s pose: This is a sitting position with your back against a wall and your feet should be touching. Slowly press down on your knees and push them away from each other.
Pelvic tilt or Cat-Cow: Get down on the floor on your hands and knees. Your arms should be flush with your shoulders and your knees should be flush with your hips. As you breathe in, round your back up like a cat stretching. Then as you breathe out, put your back into a normal straight back position.
If you are not sure what positions are safe yoga for pregnancy positions, check with a yoga instructor who specializes in prenatal yoga. Always make sure that you never do a position that is uncomfortable or feels unsafe to you.
