I went to a regular yoga class today at the gym I go to. I ended up leaving after about 20 minutes because I couldn’t do a lot of the stuff. It was a lot of bending and touching the floor with straight knees and twisting at the waist. I am 20 weeks and have a belly and can’t do some of that. I found it really uncomfortable. I have a prenatal yoga dvd but I haven’t tried it yet. Has anyone done prenatal yoga and is it different from regular yoga?
prenatal is the same idea but the positions are altered so your belly doesnt get in the way and doesnt invlove so much bendind and looking like a circus freak. (lol i can say that i also do yoga) give it a try tonight

Getting a good pregnancy yoga DVD means making sure that you know what you are looking for and getting one that fits your needs.
How do you know what to look for in a good pregnancy yoga DVD?
- Make sure that you look for one that is safe for you and your baby. A good pregnancy yoga DVD will tell you and show you what is safe for you at every stage of your pregnancy.
- Make sure the pregnancy yoga DVD is by someone who is well-trained in yoga. Someone who has been doing yoga for many years will be able to more clearly explain and show you how to properly do the poses. They will also be more knowledgeable about what is safe for you and your baby.
Getting a pregnancy yoga DVD that fits your needs.
- Your level of yoga training before getting pregnant plays an important role. If you are new to yoga, make sure to get a pregnancy yoga DVD that is easy to follow and understand.
- Also be sure to get a DVD that fits your time schedule. If you only have 30 minutes, be sure to get a pregnancy yoga DVD that only covers 30 minutes and not an hour.
