Keeping Yourself Safe When Using A Prenatal Yoga DVD

Prenatal yoga is a great form of exercise during pregnancy because it is low impact and provides great stretching and flexibility exercises. But as with any form of exercise when you are pregnant, you need to make sure you stay safe. Some great ways to stay safe while using a prenatal yoga DVD are:
Take breaks as often as you need to. Your body and what it can do will vary from day to day while you are pregnant and that includes what poses you can do when using your prenatal yoga DVD. Don’t overdo it and listen to your body and how it feels that day.
Be sure to modify the exercises or just take a break if you are feeling dizzy. There may be some poses that make you feel dizzy or lightheaded when you use your prenatal yoga DVD. When that happens, modify the pose as the DVD indicates or just simply take a break from the video.
