<p>For those of you who have done this did it help you??(unless of course u ended up getting a section)</p>
<p>Thankyou<br />
<br />I did pilates and walking atleast 4-5 times a day all the way until 30 weeks.  Then I was put on bedrest.  I still did some very light pilates because I got bored, so I did it almost all the way through my pregnancy.  I pushed my son out in 15 minutes and did not tear.  I was able to move around and not feel much 3-4 days after delivery.  IT was also easy to stay with my exercise routine AFTER the baby was born which I think helps a lot.  After delivery, you&#8217;re going to look about 4-5 months pregnant no matter what.  You WILL have a jelly belly for a few weeks, it very slowly goes down.  It may be big or small.  Just remember you had that baby in you for 37-40 weeks, it will take time for your belly to go back to normal.  I strongly suggest swimming or yoga, I think any exercise (even just walking) helps tremendously.  </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am in my first trimester and feeling quite nauseas right now, but I do plan on doing some sort of mild exercise as soon as I can tolerate it.  I&#39;m not very athletic and right now I just feel like a big slug.  I just want to do something to tone me a little and get my endorphins going to help lift my mood.  In the past I have done walking on my treadmill, Tae Bo, yoga, and light weight training.  I was thinking of getting a pregnancy yoga DVD, but I don&#39;t know which ones are best.  Any ideas?<br />
<br />First make sure you ask your doc if you can. Your cervix may be too thin to tolerate you working out, even if it&#39;s not heavy. Yoga is good, not too strenuous. Any kind of light lifting and cardio is good. If you want to use a dvd, they have ones that will actually ease your labor and help you get back in shape after the baby. Good luck!</p>
